Blowpipe disappearing from my hand and possibly deleting it?

So I tried using my blowpipe with no ammo in and it swallowed the blowpipe from my hands.

it said in the chat that I have run out of ammo when it swallowed it up.

no screenshots of it because I ragequit when it happened

After testing it turns out the bug happens when you run out of darts and try to shoot it swallows it up
